What is the VR&E Program?
In the following section, you will find detailed information on the VR&E Program and its purpose of supporting veterans in acquiring valuable technological skills for successful civilian careers.

Am I eligible for VR&E?
You may be eligible for VR&E if you meet all of these requirements.
1. You have a service-connected disability.
AND
2. Your VA disability rating is at least 10%.
AND
3. You didn’t receive a dishonorable discharge.
Note: When the VA reviews your VR&E application, the VA will schedule your initial evaluation with a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (VRC). The VRC will determine if you’re entitled to receive VR&E benefits and services.
